| Description |
“The dog is man’s best friend” the old saying goes, and the Bridgman Public Library is helping to prove that with its Pawsitive Reading program. The program will be on the 2nd Tuesday of the month through May, 2012. Pawsitive Reading is a program that can be a tool to help all children who have difficulty reading. A teacher, parent or guardian may call the library at 269-465-3663 for a 15 minute appointment between 6 – 7 p.m. with the service dog and handler. The session helps the child improve his or her reading skills. Whether the dog learns something is a matter of conjecture…
